McClain Bath County News-Outlook Thursday, May 26, 1939 Relatives here were notified recently of the death of William G. McClain, formerly of the Okla neighborhood, this county. Mr. McClain died January 22 of a heart attack in the veterans' hospital at St. Louis, Mo. He was a soldier of the Spanish-American war. He was a son of the late Andrew and Mary Daugherty McLain. Surviving him are five sisters, Mrs. A. C. Campbell and Mrs. Annie Gray, of this county; Mrs. M. C. Collins, Mrs. Sallie Roby and Mrs. Bell Perkins, and one brother, Omar McClain, all of Fleming county. Burial was in a veterans' cemetery near St. Louis.
