Mr. Noah Parks, 56, tenant on the McFadden farm near Sideview, was killed
instantly last Monday night when he was struck by an automobile driven by Mr.
Roy S. Greene, Sr., on the Paris road. The accident was an unavoidable one, as
Mr. Parks staggered into the path of the motor truck, and was knocked down,
receiving a fractured skull. Mr. Parks is survived by his widow, who has the
sympathy of everyone. The body was taken to Bath county for burial. Noah Parks
was widely known and a friendly man, and his tragic death is deeply regretted by
many friends.
