Bath County News-Outlook, 1/17 - 1/24 2002, p.2
  Paul D. Powers, age 53, of Wabash, IN, passed away Thurs., Jan., 10, 2002, 
at his residence.  He was born Feb. 9, 1948, in Frenchburg, to the late 
Sanford and Ada Reffitt Powers.  He was a retired employee of Agro-Chem in 
Wabash, IN, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
  Survivors include his wife, Diane E. Powers of Wabash, IN; three sons, 
Sanford and Julie Powers of Syracuse, IN, Paul and Margaret Powers, Jr. of 
Fort Campbell, and Don "Chip" Dangerfield of Wabash, IN; four daughters, 
Pamela and Michael Hawkins of Wabash, IN, Penny and Richard Gale of North 
Manchester, IN, Patricia and Jim Gidley of Wabash, IN, Daphane and Bill 
Davidson of North Manchester, IN; five sisters, Elsie Scott, Carrie Easterday 
and Pauline Ward, all of Wabash, IN, Gladys Hunt and Helen Downs, both of Salt 
Lick; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
  Funeral services were held Mon., Jan. 14, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. at Grandstaff-
Hentgen Manchester Ave Chapel with Rev. John A. Denniston officiating.  Burial 
was in Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash.
