While playing in the yard, the child received a scratch on her ankle which developed into an infection, costing her, her life. Besides her parents, she is survived by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at the residence Wednesday, June 8, at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Tommie Crouch, followed by interment in Shrout's graveyard.
