Mose Smith 
Bath County News-Outlook Thursday, December 1, 1938 
   Mose Smith, former colored man of this place, died at his home 
in Ashland Early Wednesday morning, it was learned today.  Mose was 
one of "Aunt" Rachel Nesbitt's boys and lived here until about ten 
years ago, working at the Belcher barber shop.  He was about 63 years 
old.
