Sorrell has returned to his place of business, after a week's absence on the account of the illness and death of his father, Augustine Sorrell, who died January 13, at Goddard, Fleming county, aged 85 years. Mr. Sorrell was a member of Captain Jas. Ewing's company in the war with Mexico. HIs death was caused from jaundice, and was his first and only illness. His many friends and relatives regret the loss of this good, brave, patriotic citizen and soldier.
