Bath County News-Outlook, 1/24 - 1/31 2002, p.2
  Donna Gail Reed Smith, age 54, of Moorefield, died Jan., 14, 2002, after a 
year-long illness.  She was born in Bath Co., Dec. 3, 1947, to the late Irvin 
and Belva Gray Reed.  She retired from Jockey after 33 years.
  She is survived by one son, Jesse Gordon and Kayanna Smith; five sisters, 
Lila Pearl Packett of Sharpsburg, Wilma Jean King of Jeffersonville, IN, Mary 
Lou Crouch of Owingsville, Deborah Joyce Crump of Sharpsburg, and Judy Lynn 
Vice of Owingsville; one brother, Bill Reed of Kokomo, IN; three special 
friends, Shirley Donothan of Owingsville, Jewell Davis of Carlisle, and 
Carolyn House of Moorefield; and several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services were Wed., Jan. 16, 2002, at the Clark Funeral Home in 
Moorefield with Rev. Jim Crouch officiating.  Burial was in Longview Cemetery 
in Bethel.
