Lucian Whaley age 92 passes away at Mary Chiles Hospital

Lucian Whaley, age 92 of 108 High St Owingsville passed away Wednesday March 3,
1999 at Mary Chiles Hospital after a long illness. He was born June 1 1906 to
the late Nancy B Riddle Whaley and Edward T Whaley. He was a native of Bath
County, a retired farmer, and a member of the Owingsville Christian Church. 
Survivors include six sons, Charles Edward and wife Charlotte Whaley of Quincy,
Indiana, A B and wife Norma Jean Whaley of Carlisle, Danny Royse and wife Geneva
Whaley of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tommy Rigdon of Ft Walton Beach, Florida, Joe Nelson
and wife Janet Whaley of Mt Sterling, Lucien Dale and wife Judy Whaley of
Hillsboro; four daughter, Louise and husband F M Six of Cynthiana, Verna Rogers
of Owingsville, Lena and husband Tommy Jamison of Hillsboro, Rita Ann and
husband Hugh Byron of Hillsboro; twenty seven grand children, thirty six great
grand children and four great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 7 1999 at Richie Hunt Funeral Home with
Rev. Lowell Rice and Rev. Claude L Goodpaster. Burial was in the Owingsville
Cemetery.
