Lela Opal Rogers Scaggs, Born June 29, 1919, Bath County, Kentucky; Died 
January 4, 1984, Denver, Colorado.  Burial: Sunday, January 8, 1984, 
Polksville Cemetery.  Keal-Bromagen-Gray Funeral Home, Minister Rev. June 
Hunt.  Lela, daughter of Aaron Rogers and Nora Robinson.  Married John Alec 
Copher (1916-1964), on December 24, 1935, at Mt. Sterling Kentucky.  Family 
moved to Wheat Ridge, Colorado in 1956; then settled in Lakewood, Colorado. 
Husband Thomas A. Copher, died January 28, 1964, and was buried at Crown Hill 
Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Lela secondly married Arthur H Scaggs, on 
October 11, 1966, in Denver, Colorado. Two children by first marriage; and no 
children by second marriage.  Lela worked as an inspector for the 
Firestone "Gates" Rubber Company in Denver, Colorado.
