Bath County Clerks Office, Sct:
  I R. H. Conner Clerk of the county aforesaid, do certify that Thomas Perkins 
hath enetered into bond and security to procure licence to intermarry 
with Polly Hendricks of this county, consent being legally had.
  This shall, therefore, authorize you to join in Matrimony the said Thomas 
Perkins and Polly Hendricks and this shall warrent you for doing so.
  
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, as clerk aforesaid,  this 
9th day of January 1854
