Marriage record in courthouse
State of Kentucky
Bath County
It is hereby certified, that under and by virtue of the within License, I did,
on the 1st day of July 1853 at the house of Charles Whaley in said county,
celebrate the rites of Matrimony between the within named M R Stone and Mary B
Newland and that  J A Trumbo J P Snellings and Chas Whaley were present and
witnessed the celebration. 
Given under my hand this 18th day of August 1853

Additional Comments:
I believe Mary B Newland to be the daughter of William and Artimetia Newland.
William had died before the 1850 census and Artemicia and Mary were living with
the Snellings (whom I believe the wife was another of William and Artimetia's
daughters). Charles Whaley's wife was Sarah Susan Newland, a daughter of William
and Artemicia.
