Bath County KY: WILL: Amis Davis 1826 Bath County, KY Will Book B, pps. 78-79 I Amis Davis of Bath County & State of Kentucky declare the following to be my Last Will and Testament, I appoint Isaac Gray my Executor; I give unto my wife Patsy $30 in good money; I give unto my Son Willis $30 in good money, I give unto my four sons Jerry, Lesly, Charles & Stephen $30 each. I give unto my daughters, Malinda, Avaline, Mahala, Aliza, Hetta, Caroline and Sally $20 each, in good money. I wish my Land to be sold, together with all of my stock of Beasts of every kind, The money arising from the Sales to be divided amongst the above mentioned persons, as soon as they may need it, after it is collected, to which I have set my hand & seal this 3 day of March 1826. Whereupon the same is ordered to be Recorded on the motion of Isaac Gray the Executor in sd Will named, who made oath thereto as the Law directs; it is ordered that probate be granted him in due form giving security. Whereupon He together with Andrew Gudgell is entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $500 conditioned according to Law. And the same is truly recorded in my Office as the Law directs.
