I desire that my executor hereinafter named sell and convey on such terms and conditions and for such price as he may deem proper all real estate of which I may die the owner of or have the legal title to. After the settlement of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath to the White Oak Christian Church, Bath County, KY, the sum of 100.00 and I give and bequeath to the Hillsboro Christian Church, Fleming County, KY, the sum of 100.00 said bequests to be preferred and payable before any other bequests herein set out. I give and bequeath to my sister, Mrs. Iva G Starks, Paducah, KY, my walnut bedstead but if she predeceases me I direct my executor to sell said bedstead to the highest and best bidder and the sum realized from said sale to become a part of my general estate. I give and bequeath to my sisters, Mrs. Nannie Whaley, Mrs. Martha Henderson, Mrs. Zelia Whitton, and Mrs. Iva Starks the remainder of my property share and share alike equally. but in the event either one or more or all of them predeceases me then I direct that the share of those who predecease me shall pass to their heirs share and share alike equally I nominate and appoint Espie Whaley as executor of this will and request that he be permitted to qualify as such without will of Sara Vice deceased (continued) surety on his bond. This the 5th day of March 1940 Sarah Vice Subscribing Witnesses:- Aubrey Stephens J A Richards State of Kentucky County of Bath I Clark Rogers, Clerk of the Court for the County and state aforesaid do certify that and instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Sara Vice, deceased was this day produced in open court for probate and proven by the testimonies of Aubrey Stephens and J A Richards the two subscribing witnesses thereto whereupon the same was established by the court as the last will and testament of Sara Vice deceased and ordered to be recorded by the Clerk of this Court in the proper records of his office whereupon the same together with the certificates thereon endorsed and this certificate have been duly recorded in my office. Her sister Nannie Whaley was my great great grandmother. I am looking for other descendants of James and Georgia Riddle, ESPECIALLY that of Iva Starks of Paducah. Sara married Alf Vice after 1930 when she was more than 60 years old. She never had any children.
