      R. D. Wilson served one term as Circuit Court Clerk and had been 
re-elected to a second term and had served part of it when he died. He was a 
teacher for a number of years in the schools of Bell County, and taught for 
some time in the west. He was well education. He came from Browney's Creek, 
and was the son of Robert Wilson. His mother was a Barnett.
