Thomasson on the Pineville road Wednesday night, fled when Thomasson fired at them. Thomasson was driving alone and had about reached the top of the Big Log Mountain when two would-be bandits rolled down in the road from the bank with drawn revolvers. He procured his pistol and took a couple of shots at them without stopping his car. They fled through the brush
