Lamar in Hospital As Result of Accident C.T. Lamar is laid up at the Brosheer-Brummett hospital today with a swollen foot as the result of an accident which occurred at Cumberland avenue and 20th street Monday evening. According to the story told by G.C. Woodson, who drove the car which injured Lamar, he was driving on Cumberland avenue at a moderate rate of speed when another machine coming in the opposite direction threw the headlight in such a manner as to completely blind him with the result that he swerved to one side, injuring Lamar in the foot. At the hospital it was said today that injuries sustained by Lamar were not serious and that he is expected to be out in a day or two.
