Republicans and Democrats Both Made Concessions and Peace Prevails at Middlesboro, Ky. Middlesboro, Ky., July 5., - A peace agreement was entered into here by the political factions, whereby it was agreed to stop hostilities. Recent outbreaks here have left the city in a turmoil at all times, and the condition was getting very alarming. Committees from each side met and an agreement was reached which was satisfactory to all. R.C.Ford is to resign as major, and W.H. Turner is to get the place which the present council had declared vacant. Turner and City Judge Bosworth are to get their salary, which the city council had refused to pay. These were concessions made by the democrats, while the republicans agreed to have all the deputy sheriffs taken off and to stop the prosecution of ex-Chief of Police King, indicted for conspiracy to kill, and also to use their influence in having the indictments against the election offenders quashed. Both sides agree to use all their moral force to help preserve law and order. SECWD0007100109t;
