JERRY WAYNE ALLEN
 
    Jerry Wayne Allen, 55, of New Tazwell, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 
2002 at the East Tennessee Baptist Hospital in Knoxville.  He was born in 
Pineville on March 22, 1947 a son of Helen Bryant Allen and the late Earl 
Allen.  He was a house painter.
    He was preceded in death by his father and a half brother, Aubrey Allen.
    Survivors include his wife Gloria Gibson Allen; children, Donnie and Susan 
Allen of Laurel Hill, Tammy and Andy Mills of Alworth, GA and Tracy Saylor of 
New Tazwell, grandchildren, Chris and Aaron Mills, Adam, Justin, Jacob and 
Alyssa Saylor; mother, Helen Alllen of Pineville, brothers and sisters, Sid 
and Jeanette Allen of Pineville, Bob Allen of Pineville; Glennis and David 
Jackson of Arthur, TN and Gretchen and Paul Green of Pineville and a host of 
nieces and nephews.
    Services were Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home.  Burial was at 
Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville.  Pallbearers were family and friends.  
Honorary pallbearer was Dr. Christian Speil.
    Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Allen 
Family,
