He was born on September 2, 1947 in Pineville, the son of the late James and Elizabeth Caldwell Brock. On September 20, 1994, he married Ella Helton. He had been a fork lift operator at the Campbell Soup Company of Napoleon for the past 29 years. He attended the Faith Tabernacle Church, Defiance, OH. He was greatly loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers and sisters, Millard, Robert, Bruce, Dora and Rachel Brock. Survivors include his wife of ten years, Ella Brock of Napoleon, children, Ricky and Tina Brock of Pineville, Sindy Brock of Pineville and Tracy and Chad Critten of Paulding, OH; step-children, Jim and Marcia Taylor, Larry Taylor, Brenda and Don Mack, Linda and Stan Gerken, Glenda and Todd Bryant and Ronda and Todd Baldwin all of Napoleon; brothers and sisters, Will and Martha Brock, Reed and Janet Brock, Grover Brock and Colson Brock, Mary Bullins, Bertha and Charles Hunter, Helen and Bobby Hunter, Laura Bingham, Irene Brock, Cuba and Jesse Phipps and Gladys and Daniel Jackson, all of Pineville and Katherine and Bill Cavin of Oakwood, OH, 19 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be at 11 AM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Mason and Rev. Murphy Buell. Music will be by the Ferndale Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Services were held Monday in Napoleon, OH. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Faith Tabernacle Church. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, is in charge of local arrangements.
