IDA  FORESTER  BROCK



Ida Forester Brock, 82, loving wife of Homer Brock for 66 years, died on 
Friday, September 28, 2007 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She 
was born January 15, 1925 to Sol and Polly Saylor Forester in Bell County, KY. 
She was a member of the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church and had been a 
homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, 
Mrs. Hugh (Janice) Brock and brothers and sisters, Jess, Nannie, Mary, Henry, 
Della, Martha, Elizabeth, J.C. and Hazel.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Brock, her children, , Janis and Tom 
White, Hugh Brock, Charles Ray Brock, Ernest and Diane Brock and Gary and 
Cheryl Brock, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-
great-grandchild, sister, Ada Mae Lawson and brother, Hugh Helton and a host of 
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Services were at 2:00 PM Monday at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church with 
Pastor Don Messer and Rev. Thea O. Carter. Music was by Faye Messer, Lucy Smith 
and Rev. Dave Baker. Burial was in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery at 
Pineville. Pallbearers were family and friends. Honorary pallbearer was Tom 
White.

The family received friends from 1 until 2 PM Monday at the Calvary Chapel 
Pentecostal Church at Stoney Fork. 

Arrangements are by Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
