Medical Center in Bay Pines, FL. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Hendrickson Begley and had been a tool and die maker for ITT Company in St. Petersburg. He was a Chief Gunners Mate on the USS Dobin during the attack of Pearl Harbor and a past president of the national Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. He attended Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother and sisters, Anson Begley, Pauline Ferguson and Ardith Lawson. Survivors include his wife, Doris, sons, Robert, Ben, Charles and Duane; sister, Cassie Begley and brothers, Ira, Otto and Shell. A memorial service was held in St. Petersburg on December 31, 2002.
