JONATHON BROCK
 
    Jonathon Brock, 69, of St. Creek, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 
2003 at the Pineville Community Hospital.  He was born in Cold Iron on January 
4, 1934 son of the late Joseph and Lucy Saylor Brock.  He had been a grader 
for a Lumber Company.
    In addition to his prents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Zola and 
Judy Brock and brothers, Dewey and Arvel Brock and grandparents, Jonathon and 
Judy Wilson Brock.
    He was a beloved brother of his sisters and their husbands, Phronia and 
Paul Parker of Pineville, Oma and Fred Helton of Kettle Island, Vina Smith of 
Straight Creek, Mary and Garner Middleton of Barbourville and Alice and 
McArthur Mills of Straight Creek and a host of nieces and nephews.
    Services were Saturday at the Old Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle with 
Rev. Danny Daniels, Rev. Bobby Grubbs and Rev. Herman Denny.  Music was by the 
church.  Burial was in Salt Trace Cemetery at Middlefork.  Family and friends 
served as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers were all of his many friends.
    Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Brock 
Family.
