She was born July 31, 1948 in Bell County Kentucky, the daughter of Robert Lee Cody (deceased) and Etta Cody. She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Louise Cody; son-in-law, Shawn King and Janice Ervin, both of LaFollette; three sons, Prince Phillip Cody and daughter-in-law, Belinda Singer, Mitchell Wayne Cody and Harley Howard Cody; a special granddaughter, Angel Lee Ann Cody; four sisters, Clara Mae Fox of LaFollette, Ida Marie Hiller and Winnie Bernice Smith, both of LaFollette; four brothers, Floyd Cody of Harragut, TN, Carl Cody of Dayton, TN, James and Charles Cody of Michigan; 7 grandchildren. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 1999 at Roach Mortuary in LaFollette with Reverend Wade Walls officiating. Interment will be at Peabody Cemetery in LaFollette. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 4. Roach Mortuary, LaFollette, in charge of arrangements.
