JOSIE  DENNY



MIDDLESBORO — Josie Denny, 88, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Pineville 
Community Hospital.



She was born Nov. 8, 1919, at Colmar, and was the daughter of the late Chester 
and Margaret Hurst Robbbins.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Geither 
Eugene Denny; three sons, Clifton Denny, Tom Denny, and Jerry Denny; and 
threedaughters, Christine Lake, Brenda Stumbler, and Loretta Denny.



Survivors include her daughters, Josephine Henson, Middlesboro, Diana Poff, 
Middlesboro, and Sandra Lake, Middlesboro; sons, Joseph Denny, Harrogate, and 
Eugene Denny, Middlesboro; two brothers, Harvey Lee Robbins, Middlesboro, and 
Elwood Robbins, Pineville; 24 grandchildren, and a host of great and great-
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Creech Funeral Home 
Chapel.



Interment will be in the Yeary Cemetery.



The family received friends from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Creech Funeral Home, 
Middlesboro, which is in charge of all arrangements.
