RENUS FOXEY DOULEN
 
    Renus "Foxey" Doulen, 71, of Richmond, IN formerly of Bell County, died 
Saturday, December 21, 2002 at I.U. Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN, 
following a short illness.
    He was born June 5, 1931, in Cary, Kentucky to Matt Doulen and Lona I. 
Garland Doulen and had attended Bell County School in Kentucky.  He lived in 
Richmond most of his life.
    Renus was a former employee of P.R.C. and retired in 1993 from White 
Consolidated Industries.
    Survivors include his wife, Mildred Elliott Doulen whom he married October 
1, 1955; three daughters, Lisa Chambers and companion Larry Dixon of Richmond, 
Marta Call and her husband Tony of Richmond, and Lori Vaughn and her husband 
Ron of Richmond; one son Rick Doulen and his wife Cheryl of Fountain City; six 
grandchildren, Ranee Rich and her husband Kevin, Scott Doulen, Derrick Doulen, 
Jamie Lynch, Ryan Vaughn, and Kami Vaughn; one sister, Flossie Miller of South 
Daytona Beach, FL; three brothers, Oliver Doulen and George Doulen both of 
Cornersville, and Richard Doulen of Richmond; nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents Matt and Lona Garland Doulen; five 
brothers, Robert, Ulis, Burl, Earl Lee and Charlie; three sisters, Annie, 
Irene and Adalene.
    Funeral services for Renus Doulen were held Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at 
Doan & Mills Funeral Home in Richmond, Indiana with Rev. Lyle Chester of the 
Centerville Church of the Nazarene officiating.  Burial followed in the 
Earlham Cemetery.  Doan & Mills Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
