She was born at Little Clear Creek on June 24, 1917 a daughter of the late Burchfield and Josie Partin Gibson. She was a member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church #2 and had been a homemaker. She belonged to Frakes Senior Citizens and Horizon Adult Day Care. In addition to her paents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Daniel, a son, Cagle Daniel, brothers, Roy and Ray Gibson and sisters, Angeline Simpson, Audie Wilkie and Verdie Mason. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma and Charley Miracle of Chenoa; Jeneva and Foley Epley of Clear Creek and Inetta and Rick Nelson of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Angela Jones, Lisa Akers, Brian Epley, Alicia Blackburn, Katie Nelson, Cagle Daniel Jr., and April Marie Daniel; great- grandchildren, Devon Akers, Noah Akers, Amber Taylor, Mattea Daniel and Shalun Daniel and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were Thursday, April 24, 2003, at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church #2 with Rev. Bill Gibson. Burial was in the Gibson Cemetery at Clear Creek. Pallbearers were family and friends Honorary pallbearer was Kelly Partin. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Daniel Family.
