(JAMES) EPLEY Fred F. (James) Epley, 68, died April 10 at his home,Union , KY. He retired from Labor Local 265 and was a Korean War Veteran. He believed in the Church of God. He was born June 18, 1934 in Pineville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dora Epley, Three sisters Mammie Alice, Betty Ruth Epley and Gladys Sinkhorn. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Widener Epley, Union, KY. One son Fred Epley Jr. and wife Amy, Cabot, AK., One daughter Teresa Epley, Highland Heights, KY. Three grandsons, Brent, Tyler and Nick Epley, brothers, Chester, Va. Beach, Virginia, Julian, MI City, IN., Tony, Central City, KY. Four sisters, Virginia Williams, Central City, KY, Ethel Hobbs, Middlesboro, Wanda Willis, MI City, IN and Lana Jones, Sparta, KY, plus a host of other family and friends. Funeral services were held at Smith Funeral Home in Florence, KY., the minister was Rev. Joe Keeling. Burial followed in Hughes Chapel, Union, KY. The pallbearers were family members.
