He was born in Brush Creek, KY on March 25, 1906 a son of the late Steve and Kathern Carter Golden. He was a member of the Pineville Church of God and had been a logger with Dean Logging. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Ethel Tinsley Golden and Rosa Funson Golden; brothers and sisters, Maude Golden Alford Sturgill, Mary Centers, Steve, Jr., Jake and Floyd Golden and nephew, Homer Alford, Jr. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Mary Sinkhorn, Kathleen Human, Joann Holzlohner, Ray, Roger, Bobby and Wayne Golden and sisters-in-law, Lucinda Golden, Sussie Golden and Minnie Meeks and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Perkins. Friends provided music for the service. Burial was in the Tinsley Family Cemetery at Tinsley. Pallbearers were family and friends. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville was in charge of arrangements.
