JOHN C.  HELTON

John C. “J.C.” Helton, 68, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 
2004 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Pineville on January 
31, 1936, the son of the late Ulys and Edith Owens Helton. He had worked for 
General Motors and had served in the U.S. Army. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Arnold Ray, 
Paul and Ronald Helton. 
Survivors include his sister, Dalene Helton, niece, Marinda Lawson, aunts, 
Pearl York and Vontella Zoochi and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 
Services will be at 1 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with 
Rev. James Polly. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. 
Pallbearers will be family and friends. 
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele
