HENSON, RUTH PARTIN - After a long and difficult illness, passed away 
peacefully at her home on July 22, 2005. Born in Frakes, KY on May 8, 1927, 
she was the oldest of ten children. Preceding her in death were her husband, 
Floyd E. Henson, Sr.; mother and father, Ida and Ernest Partin; brothers, 
Ralph Partin and Randall Partin; sister, Jewel D. Pierce. Mrs. Henson loved to 
sew and was the former owner of Harrogate Fabric Shop, which she operated for 
over 20 years. She was also an avid gardener. Mrs. Henson is survived by sons, 
Floyd E. Henson, Jr. (Cheryl), Orlando, FL, Dan Henson (Kathie), Mont Pelier, 
VA; daughters, Judith C. Henson, Harrogate, Patty Henson, Ashland, VA, Tammy 
Day, Harrogate; grandchildren, Jamie Douglas, Jennifer Henson, Patrick Henson, 
Benjamin Henson and Tonya King; brothers, Ray Partin, (Wanita), Scott Partin 
(Linda), Kenneth Partin (Denise); sisters, Rhoda Herron (Walter), Jolene 
James, Jean Honeycutt (James), special friends and neighbors, Bob and Helen 
Thompson, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like 
to express special thanks to the caregivers, who took such great care of their 
mother, Wanda Gilbert, Peggy Duval, Joyce Shelby, Teresa Buis and Michelle 
Robinson. The family will receive friends at Reece Funeral Home Sunday, July 
24, 2005 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow with 
the Rev. Fred Cummings officiating. Music will be provided by Dewey Gilbert, 
Jr. Graveside services 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005 at Harrogate Cemetery. 
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Reece Funeral 
Home and Valley Chapel 869 3651 or 626 4249.
