Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was a native of Pineville, KY, a mine inspector, worked in coal and gas exploration and taught in an alternative school in Estill County. He was a Mason in the Shriner’s and an Army Vietnam Veteran. Other than his wife Paula, he is survived by one son, John N. Hibbard of Lexington, KY; two brothers Joe Hibbard of Louisville, KY and Jim Hibbard of Richmond, KY, he also is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Dallas and Hestel Copper Hibbard. Funeral services celebrating the life of Jack Hibbard will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Dr. J.C. Henderson and Gary Bonnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brutus Mansfield, Frank Lynch, Jim Harris, Joe Hibbard, Jim Hibbard and Skip Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Wingate, Jim Johnson, Jim Montgomery, Jim Hughes and Ralph Newman. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
