She was born August 18, 1918 at Little Clear Creek to the union of Jim Blaine Fuson and Sarah Alice Miracle Fuson. She was a member of the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for 69 years where she was a song leader and church clerk for many years and a great pillar in the community. She retired from the Pineville Hospital in 1980. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ray and Earl Fuson, sisters, Virgie Carter and Shirley Hunter and a great grandchild, Tara Hunter. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Floyd Grant Hunter, daughter, Marilyn (Arnold) Fuson, sons, Bobby (Helen) Hunter, Charles (Bertha) Hunter and Jimmy (Teresa) Hunter all of Little Clear Creek, brother, Curtis Fuson, sisters, Nadean Hunter and Ada Baker all of Pineville, grandchildren, Scott (Michelle), Charles (Tiny), Waylon (Jackie), Mark (Teresa) and Adam Hunter; Sissy (Clint) Goodin, Jill (Joe) Lefevers all of Pineville, Terrence (Beth) and Donnie (Carol) Hunter of Defiance, OH, Keith (Tammy) Fuson of Manchester, KY eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were at Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, December 5 with Rev. Ellis Hugh Hoskins, Rev. Denny Hunter and Rev. Clint Goodin. Burial was in the Fuson Chapel Cemetery at Little Clear Creek. Pallbearers were her grandsons. The family received friends after 6 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
