She was born in Pineville on March 26, 1948 a daughter of the late Elmer Lee, Sr., and Ethel Jackson Hobbs. She had been a homemaker and was a lifelong resident of Bell County. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Gloria Jean Suratt and brothers, Ted and Troy Hobbs and Claude Wendell Hobbs. Survivors include her husband, Larry Johnson, children, Paul Edward and Tracy Hobbs, Robbie Wade and Priscilla Hobbs, Timmy Ray Grubbs, Angelia Michelle and Rodney Hoskins and Norman Wade Johnson; step-daughters, Cheryl and Tony Wayne Dye and Tina Campbell, grandchildren, Paul Terrence Hobbs, Robbie Nicholas Hobbs, Bradley Earles and Kaylea Hoskins; step-grandchildren, Cody Campbell, Nicholas Dye, Jacob Dye, Selyna Ervin and Pam Campbell; brothers and sisters, Elmer Lee, Jr. and Linda Hobbs, Otis Wayne and Judy Hobbs, Andrew James and Darlene Hobbs, Shirley M. Gray, BillieJo Wilson and Suzanne and Terry Simpson; 16 nephews, 17 nieces and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Services were held at 1:30PM Sunday at the Powell Valley Primitive Baptist Association Building with Elders Kenneth Robbins and Randall Miracle. Music was provided by the Church Singers. Burial was in the Tackett Hill Cemetery at Blackmont. Pallbearers were family and friends. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Johnson Family.
