RUBY MARIE MASON LASLEY

	Ruby Marie Mason Lasley, 58, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, 
March 23, 2004 at the Pineville Community Hospital.  She was born in Dorton 
Branch, KY on May 8, 1945 a daughter of the late Ben and Rosie Manis Mason.  
She was a member of the Dorton Branch Church of God and had been a homemaker.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Debra Johnson, a 
grandson, Brandon Lee Nichols and sisters, Jean Smith, Myrtle Tigue and Betty 
Sturgill.
	Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Alex Lasley of Pineville; 
children, Patty and Paul Mills of East Pineville, Tammy K. Baker of Pineville 
and Katherine Star Lasley of Pineville; grandchildren, Don Eric Johnson, 
Justin, Dustin and Paul Mills and Sheyenne Baker; a sister, Mary and Charles 
Griffin or Dorton Branch; brothers, Donald  and Della Mason of Page Cut-off, 
Arthur Lee and Phyllis Mason of East Pineville and Junior Ray and Pam Mason or 
Dorton Branch; a special friend, Ora Madon and a host of other relatives and 
friends.
	Services were Friday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur 
Jackson.  Music was by Thomassa Risner and Edith Griffin.  Burial was in the 
Mason and Lasley Family Cemeteries at Brandfordtown, KY.  Pallbearers were 
family and friends.  Honorary pallbearers were Dr. T.V. Hays, the ICU staff at 
Pineville Community Hospital and the Staff of Pineville Home Health.
	Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the 
Lasley Family.
