ARNOLD MATTHEWS

	Arnold Matthews, age 86, of St. Augustine, Florida, died on May 15, 
2003, at Mariner Health Center of St. Augustine.  He was a native of 
Pineville, Kentucky where he lived most of his life before moving to St. 
Augustine in 1995.  He was a retired grocery store owner/operator and was a 
member of the West Pineville Baptist Church.
	Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at the North 
Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville, Florida, with Reverend Doyle Harper 
officiating.  Interment followed in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville.  
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Doris Matthews, who died on 
May 9, 2003.  He is survived by his son, Ernie Matthews and daughter-in-law 
Andrea Matthews of St. Augustine.
	Kotrady-Hudgina-Croyle Funeral Home was in charge of local 
arrangements.
