She was born in Slusher, KY on September 26, 1913 a daughter of Rev. B.A. and Sarah Knuckles Sizemore. She was a believer in the Holiness faith and had been a store clerk. She was a member of the Ladies of America. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Messer, son, Bill Messer, brothers and sisters, Rev. James L. Sizemore, Charles C. Sizemore, Lucy Sizemore, Etta Taylor, Rev. Jefferson F. Sizemore, Richard W. Sizemore, Millard Sizemore and Ray Sizemore. Survivors include sister, Rosa Mae Money of Pineville, brother, Herman Sizemore of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Shelby Money and Rev. Thea O. Carter. Music provided by Charles and Sheila Lee. Burial followed in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers were family and friends. The family received friends after 4 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
