MASON  NAPIER



Bellefontaine, Ohio - Mason Napier, 92, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2006, 
at his sons’ home in Bellefontaine.



He was born May 22, 1914, in Pineville, a son of the late Alex and Kitty 
Napier. He had worked for Wagner Manufacturing in Sidney, Ohio, and was a 
member the VFW, American Legion and the Eagles Lodge all of Bellefontaine.



In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Murphy 
Napier, to whom he was married on Feb. 18, 1939; son Virgil Napier; daughter, 
Linda Elaine Napier; brothers, Sam and Cliff Napier; and sisters Bertha 
McGeorge and Daisy Sinkhorn.



Survivors include his children, J.D. and Connie Napier of Bellefontaine, and 
Joyce and Steve Ferris of Beaumont, Texas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-
grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lenora Miller of 
Pineville; brother, Robert and Linda Napier of Jackson Center, Ohio; and a host 
of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



Services will be Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at the Arnett & Steele Funeral 
Home in Pineville.



Burial will follow in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be 
family and friends. 







The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Eichholtz 
Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Arnett & 
Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, which is in charge of arrangements.
