JAMES F. POSEY

	James F. Posey, 77, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 
2004 at the Pineville Community Hospital.  He was born in Bell County on 
October 30, 1926 the son of the late William Isaac and Kansas Elizabeth 
Posey.  He had worked at the Direct Service Station in Pineville.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Norma Jean Mullins 
Posey and brothers and sisters, Pauline Posey, Phyllis Hottard, Irene Shipley, 
Earl Posey, Buster Posey and Kelso Posey.
	Survivors include his children, Larry Posey, Judy and Herbert, Jr., 
Phipps and Troy and Tommie Jo Posey, nine grandchildren and a host of great 
grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Thurman Posey, Vernon Posey, Betty Lou 
Varien, Ruth Wilson, Patsy Thompson and Gay Hester Dunn and a host of nieces 
and nephews.
	Services were held Saturday at the Trinity Full Gospel Worship Center 
at Ferndale with Reverend Charles Kersey.  Burial followed in the Hendrickson 
Cemetery at Four Mile.
