She was born in Pineville on March 27, 1921 to the late Jesse M. North and Lucy Jane Woods North Pridemore. She had been a homemaker and was a caregiver to all her neighbors and friends. Mildred was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church and was a prayer Warrior. She had been a volunteer at Britthaven Nursing Center for over 20 years. Her parents preceded her in death, her husband, Joe Edward Sproles, son, Jesse Lawrence Sproles, sister, Matie Buell and brothers, Paul North, Arlis North and George Pridemore, Jr. Survivors include her children, James Edward and Sarah Sproles, Charles David and Dessie Sproles, Jackie Wayne and Sandra Sproles, Judy Kay and Andy Dunn, Carolyn Jo Gibbs and Willa Faye and Larry Jackson; seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Hall and Rev. John Baird. Music will be by Sandra Sproles. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery, Pineville. Pallbearers will be Andy Joe Dunn, Eric Sproles, Jason Sproles, Troy Smith, Shane Gibbs, Joey Jackson, Chris Sproles, Charlie Sproles and Ryan Sproles.
