This is a picture of the Homestead of Palestine Woolum, Bell County, Kentucky. 
The stone fireplace is the only peice of the original home still standing. 
Wendell Woolum later built his home near this fireplace. He said that he 
couldn't stand to see it torn down so he left it to stand near by his home. 
Perhaps as a reminder of his childhood.
