survived by his wife Mrs,Rosa V.Minton,Asher,Of Dortons Branch,Mr.Asher was 
born on the Waters ofRed Bird at a place calle'd Blue Hole,Ky.his birth was on 
July 16,1878,HE pass away at home on November 9th.1954.
He is survived By the following children:

George Asher,76.of Dorton Branch died at his home Tuesday.November 9.He was Born in Bell County and was the son of the late Jack And Mahala Howard Asher,Funeral service will be held Friday.November 12.at 2:PM.at the home of James Napier at Breastworks Hill with the Rev.W.B.Bingham officiating.
   He is survived by his wife Mrs.Rosa Asher:sons,Pinie Lee,Jim.Hiram,Bradley,and Arnold Asher of Pineville,Burcheal Asher and Opal Asher of Creastline,Ohio:daughters.Mrs.Helen Grudger of Dayton,Mahala Sutton of Pineville,Fannie Lawson of Jonesville,Cora Asher of Pineville,Mae Helton and Mossie Bailey of Crestline,and Sudie Napier of Pineville;sisters,Mrs Susie Burns of  Indiana and.Mrs.Bessie Jackson of Middlesboro.
 
       Pallbearers were George Napier.Hiram Brosheer,James napier,Frank Napier,Joseph Gambrel,Luther Smith,Damos Grubbs and Charlie Asher.
       Burial was in Breastworks Hill Cemetery with Arnett Funeral Home in Charge.
