She was born January 26, 1931, in Knoxville, the daughter of the late John Henry Browning and Reesie Poynter Browning. Member of Covenant United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Marjorie Browning, Evelyn Anderson, Helen Smith; brothers, Charles, Alfred, John and Bill Browning. Survivors include husband, Oral Baker of Middlesboro; three children, Randy (Patti) Baker of Vero Beach, Fla., Kenny Baker of Lexington, Ky., Tammy (Scott) Hudson of Frankfort, Ky.; brothers, Leo (Liz) Browning and Gordon (Betty) Browning, all of Knoxville, Robert (Jane) Browning of Dandridge, Tenn.; sisters, Margaret (Dale) Grizell and Thelma (David) Cameron, all of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Heather, Joshua, Rachael, Nathan. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Bowling presiding. Interment will be in the Kibert Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ricky Anderson, Steve Anderson, Gary Anderson, Larry Cameron, Brian Browning, Gordy Ervin, Sonny Smith, and Leland Browning. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Creech Funeral Home. Creech Funeral Home, is in charge.
