Mrs. Hila Mae Bailey

Hila Mae Bailey, age 72, a life long resident of Kettle Island, Ky., passed away 
Monday, October 14, 1985 at the Claiborne County Hospital, Tazewell, Tenn.  She 
was born March 8, 1913 in Tennessee, the daughter of the late Harvey Baker and 
Sarah North Baker.  She believed in the Holiness faith.  She is  survived by:  
Her husband, Letcher Bailey, Kittle Island; 5 children:  Andrew Jackson Bailey, 
Pontiac, Mich.; Harvey Bailey, Arjay, Ky.; Walter Bailey, Gertrude Bailey and 
Melvin Bailey, all of Kittle Island; 2 brothers, Hubert Baker, Pontiac, Mich.; 
Blev Baker, Lafollette, Ind.; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  
Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey were held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, April 16, 1985 
at the Durham Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. David Rice and George Neal 
officiating.  Burial followed in the Bailey Cemetery, Mill Creek, Kentucky.  
Friends of the family served as pallbearers
