The Pineville Sun. Dated Oct 15, 1981:

"Mr. William (Bill) Baker, a Calloway, KY., resident passed away at his home at Calloway Friday evening, October 9, 1981 of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Baker was born June 4, 1909 in Knox County, the son of the late Grover and Lillie Messer Baker. He had been a resident of Calloway about three years and was of the Holiness faith. HIs wife preceded him in death in 1978. He is survived by one son, William Baker, Jr., of TX; one brother James (Roy) Baker of Calloway, KY., and several other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 11, 1981 at 2:30 p.m. at the Arnett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cleoh Bailey officiating. Burial was in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery at Pineville with family friends as pallbearers.

Arnett Funeral Home of Pineville was in charge of arrangements."
