Elmer BROCK Sr. 
Elmer BROCK Sr., 76, died Friday, April 8, 1988, at the Pineville Community 
Hospital. 
He was born April 21, 1911, at Kettle Island, the son of the late Allen BROCK 
and Birdie HENDRICKSON BROCK. He was preceded in death by two sons, Arnold Lee 
and Donald Ray BROCK; and one daughter, Cecil BROCK. Survivors include his wife, 
Belva BROCK, Kettle Island; eight children, Wanda SHOLTE, Waterford, Mich., Byon 
BROCK, Clarkston, Mich., Patricia RAPIER and Elmer “Pee-Wee” BROCK Jr., both of 
Hulen, Ky., Rosetta KARRIGAN, Middlesboro, Herman BROCK, Pineville, Herbert 
BROCK, Kettle Island, and June TALENT, Franklin, N.C.; one brother, Allen BROCK, 
Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Lena Mae MARSEE, Middlesboro, Gertrude BROCK, 
Detroit, Mich., and Josephine SEBER, Gary, Ind. Services were to be at noon 
today at Creech Funeral Home with the Revs. Rafe COLLETT and Doyle TAYLOR 
officiating.  Music was to be by Mike DOUGLAS. Burial was to be in the Brock 
Family Cemetery, Kettle Island.  Pallbearers were to be his grandsons. Creech 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
