He was born January 20, 1911 in Bell County, Ky., the son of the late Dillard BROCK and Martha SAYLOR BROCK. He was a veteran of World War II and he believed in the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby and four brothers, Pearl, Vernon, Fred, and Grant. He is survived by two sons, Wayne WALTERS, Tinsley, Ky., and Alvin Nath BROCK, Corbin, Ky.; two brothers, Harold BROCK and Ed BROCK, both of Harlan, Ky.; eight grandchildren. Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 1989 at the Durham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy DISNEY. Burial followed in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. The pallbearers who served were his nephews. Durham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
