A lifelong resident of Lee County, Va., he was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Brock Brewster; mother and father, Sarah and Finley Brock; and brother, Willie Brock. Survivors include his spouse, Wanda Brock of Ewing; children and their spouses, Charles Edward Brock, Ewing; Rita McLoughlin, Ft. Pierce, Fla., Judy and Ronald Neal, Rose Hill, Va., Margaret and Terry Eads,, Victoria, Texas, and Tim Brewster, Loudon, Tenn.; grandchildren, Sarah and Kevin McLoughlin, Kyle Brock, Tamar Johnson Carter, Matthew Chadwell, Veronica Brewster Scott, Miranda Eads Price, and Chase Eads; great-grandchildren, Courtney Scott and Katlyn Price; three brothers, John Brock, Rose Hill, Walter Brock, Ewing, Va., and Robert Brock, Ewing, Va.; four sisters, Lucy Dillman, Ewing, Mary Palmer, Gainesville, Ga., Charlcie Collins, Middlesboro, Ann Southern, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home, Rose Hill Chapel, with the Revs. Charles Long and Doug Hensley presiding. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ball’s Chapel Cemetery in Rose Hill. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Va., which is in charge of arrangements.
