The Sun-Courier, Wednesday, November 21 1990 
Mr. Jake DENNY, a resident of Middlesboro, Ky., died Thursday, November 15,
1990 at the Laurel Manor Nursing Home in New Tazewell, Tennessee.
He was born February 7, 1902 in Bell County, Ky., the son of the late Bill
DENNY and Alice ROBERTSON DENNY.  He believed in the Baptist faith. He was a
Army veteran having served in WW II.  He was also a member of the UMWA.  Other
than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Rose DENNY, one son Jake
DENNY Jr., and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one son, Billie Joe DENNY, Hamilton, Ohio; four daughters,
Mrs. Lenora McCOY, Covington, Ky., Miss Pearl DENNY, Bellview, Ky., Mrs. Hazel
WARREN and Miss Patsy DENNY, both of Pineville, Ky.; 13 grandchildren and 15
great grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Durham
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill SINKHORN officiating.  Music was provided by
Jack ELLIOT and Rev. Bill SINKHORN officiating.  Burial was in the Roslawn
Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Ky.  Pallbearers were Joey DENNY, David DENNY, Ed
DENNY, Lee WARREN Jr., Danny JONES and Billie Earl JONES.
Durham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
