She was born March 10, 1907 in Bell County, Ky., the daughter of the late Joe WATTS and Jeanie BLACK WATTS. She was joined in holy matrimony at Cary, Ky., in 1925 to Jake DENNY, son of the late Will and Alice ROBBINS DENNY. She believed in the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by one son, Jake DENNY Jr., and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Jake DENNY, Middlesboro, Ky.; five children, Lenora DENNY and Pearl DENNY, both of Bellvue, Ky., Mrs. Hazel WARREN, Pineville, Joe DENNY, Hamilton, Ohio, and Patsy DENNY, Middlesboro, Ky.; several grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Services were at 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, 1989 at the Durham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill SINKHORN. Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Ky. Her grandsons and friends of the family served as pallbearers. The music was provided by Bill SINKHORN and Jack ELLIOTT. Durham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
