She was 87. Funeral service for Mrs. Napier was Wednesday, May 17, 2000 at Bell County Memorial Chapel, Pineville, Kentucky with Rev. Charles F. Jones, Rev. W.B. Bingham, Rev. Jerry Tracy and Rev. Marshall Fraley officiating. Music was by Robert E. Merrick, and Annette Walden. Burial was in Pineville Memorial Cemetery, Pineville, Kentucky. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Gibson, Dr. Steve Morgan, Bob Walden, Ray Long, Sam Morgan, Edd Caldwell, Bob Madon, Dr. T.V. Hays, special friend, Dr. Martha Combs, Mason Combs and Grover Brock. In addition to her parents Dan and Rebecca Frederick Selvy, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Durham Napier, Sr. Elizabeth Napier was born on June 16, 1912 at East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Pineville, Kentucky and had been a homemaker. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Henry Napier, Jr., Howard Napier, Paul Napier, Mary Alice Lefevers, Donald Ray Napier, Patricia Ann Mitsch, Ross Napier and William B. Napier; twenty-five grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James Selvy, Bud Selvy, Floyd Selvy, Elzy Selvy, Minnie Young, Jessie Selvy and Alice Harkness and a host of nieces and nephews.
